Steals & Deals: Iphone Charging Bracelet

Happy Friday! This being the last Friday before Black Friday Sales I have taken the liberty of finding something that I know everyone will love, but I also hope will go on sale next week. We all have our cell phones and there is always the dreaded question whenever you are out to ask someone who works there if there is someplace you can charge your phone. In the past, I have purchased the external battery cases that attach to your phone’s original case. I loved them and swore by them, but now I have the Iphone 6S plus and those cases just make my phone so much bigger than it already is so I needed to find another solution. I didn’t want to carry those pill chargers all the time even though I do have one and I carry it in my everyday purse, but when I go out at night I didn’t want that battery pill to take up precious space in my small bag. The solution: a charger that can also be your accessory. Now, in the past I have seen other retailers / designers make wearable charging tech and to be perfectly honest I didn’t like the way they looked. I didn’t think there was anything unique to their look and I wanted something that could match with everything. These amazing monogram Iphone charging bracelets from Mark and Graham are amazing! Not only can you customize them by putting your initials on the bracelet, but they are classic. They look like normal silver and gold bangles and it also comes in a matte black version as well. Personally when I first saw them online and without having read the description, I just thought they were normal monogrammed bangles, but to my surprise they were also chargers. At $150 I think this is a great stocking stuffer for your friends this holiday season. Steals & Deals: Horseshoe Necklace

Happy Friday! For Steals & Deals I want to discuss the horseshoe necklace. This necklace became even more famous when Sarah Jessica Parker wore one and sometimes multiple layered horseshoe necklaces on Sex and the City as Carrie Bradshaw. This specific one is from Tiffany’s and I love how dainty it is, but not everyone wants to spend that amount of money on a necklace. There are so many options that I have found online that look exactly like this necklace, but at a fraction of the cost. Another option for a smaller horseshoe pendant without diamonds is from Dogeared necklaces which are known to be small and dainty, but also not as expensive. I found this one on Zappos website and it is only $48. All of these options are great gifts for someone that wants a timeless necklace, but also something that is simple. Sometimes it is nice having a necklace that is simple and elegant and doesn’t require much thought when putting it on. I love mine and I have currently been wearing it everyday. Happy Friday everyone! We all know what that means: It’s time for some steals & deals but this week, halloween style! Right now if you go to party city online and order any costume they are up to 80% off! They have done this in the past and yes they do get you on the shipping because who doesn’t want their costume on time? BUT I have heard people that have gone into the store and they show the online price and if you get a really nice in store employee they will match the online price! Another great place to get a cheap halloween costume is Target! Yes, Target! One of my friends went to Target and got footie adult pajamas and because it wasn’t considered a halloween costume it was a fairly good price and they had a ton of sizes left for her. For me, every time I go halloween shopping I never seem to find a costume in my size since by the time I figure out what I want to be there is nothing left. Another great place to look for costumes is on Amazon. If you are a prime member this is the day to use it and get it by Monday for halloween. If you are like me and live in the city, check Prime Now. Since there is a warehouse right outside the city I am sure they have a lot of inventory on hand for the holiday. Steals & Deals – Off The Shoulder T

Happy Friday everyone! I was traveling yesterday from Miami back to NYC and didn’t have a chance to post, but don’t worry because I have something exciting to share with you all today. For today’s Steals & Deals I want to share with you this amazing off the shoulder tee from Express. I first saw this shirt while reading a post from Who What Wear. They were showing all the models during New York Fashion Week rocking this simple T and I immediately went to express the next day. In the stores if you dig through the racks you will be able to find them, but hurry fast because they have reduced the price of this amazing T even more! Personally I got a size small because I wasn’t sure how much it was going to shrink after the wash. I have washed it already and it barely shrank at all! Remember for tops like these you need to have a great strapless bra especially one without lace detailing. I only say this because I put on my lace strapless bra under this top and you could see the lace detailing through the shirt. Off the shoulder shirts were a big hit this past summer and going into fall there is no reason why you can’t make this a new staple piece in your wardrobe. In college whenever a trend was really hitting its stride I knew that Express would come out with a similar less affordable version and they really hit it out of the ballpark with this one. They also have amazing bodysuit options if you are more into that type of style. If you haven’t gone already go now! Especially at these prices how can you say no? Steals & Deals: Columbus Day Sales

Happy Columbus Day weekend everybody! When it comes to holiday weekends, we know that this is the time for major department stores to load up on sales before the upcoming season. They all want to get rid of the old merchandise from summer in order to make room for all the new goodies for fall! We all have seen the endless amounts of Macy’s commercials for their Columbus Day weekend savings and personally I always check department store’s out first. I always want to see what is on sale in all the major department stores before I go anywhere else because they usually have the greatest savings for me. The other big ticket items that all of the message boards have been saying are good buys for this holiday weekend, are electronics and appliances. The reason why everyone is saying electronics are the best buy this holiday weekend is so that all of us can get a jump start on our holiday shopping. Yes a jumpstart on holiday shopping when it is barely even October! This is something I know that I have a seen a lot of people do in the past and just store away gifts for the future. Staples has some great ticket items including laptops and printers at over 30% off on their website now. Another great place to shop this weekend for electronics is Best Buy. They are having great deals on their televisions and also on their appliances such as washer dryers. My family last year got a great washer and dryer from Home Depot during Columbus Day weekend, but my suggestion to everyone is do your research first. A lot of these large retailers like Sears, Home Depot, Best Buy and Staples will do some price matching on specific items. It is worth making a list from all the different sites and also seeing if you maybe order your item online it may be cheaper than going to the store and picking it up in person. Steals & Deals: Spray on Nailpolish

We have all seen the articles the past year that spray on nail polish is coming and it was going to be the best thing ever, but it was only going to be sold overseas…UNTIL NOW! I have found the spray on nail polish on Amazon from the company Spray Perfect and I purchased the dark red color and I have to say it was a lot better than I expected it to be. With all of these products you always think oh they just made it look that way for the infomercials or it’s not really going to work, but with this it does. I have found that the red is a little more bronze colored than what was pictured but it was simple. I applied a base coat to my nails and let it dry. Then in my kitchen I laid out two layers of paper towels on the counter and sprayed my nails. It only says to spray them a certain distance away but I noticed that if I just sprayed a little closer I got a darker color. As predicted, the spray gets all over your hands, but don’t be concerned- it all comes off! After about 4 minutes of letting it dry I applied a top coat layer to my nails and then let that dry for about 10 minutes to be safe. I am always one of those people that sit in the nail salon for 20 extra minutes to make sure that my nails are perfectly dry as to not mess them up. After letting the top coat dry, I washed my hands with hot soapy water and all of the excess spray came off my hands!!! I used a washcloth to wash around my nails and every time I seem to do my own nails I always get so much polish on my cuticles but the spray polish comes right off and is so easy. Go to Amazon now and order it because they aren’t that expensive and I have read that the cans last for a lot of wears!

Steals & Deals: H&M Belt

It’s Friday so it’s time for some Steals and Deals! Summer may be over, but it is still feels like it here in NYC. I am hoping that the cold weather comes soon. So, I am not a big belt person. I have not worn one since middle school when it was required to wear a belt every day to school because of our strict uniform guidelines. Ever since I have been eating healthier and working out more I have lost a great deal of weight, but from past experience I know that you have to wait at least a few months to see your body stabilize. I am finally starting to see that and just starting to really tone my muscles. I didn’t want to buy all new shorts this summer so instead I went to H&M and got two belts (one black and one brown) to help my shorts from falling down. If I told you this belt was less than $10 would you all believe me? Well it’s true! It looks like genuine leather, but it isn’t and I love how the buckle in some lightings looks like a rose gold finishing! I do have nicer belts than these that are genuine leather, but when it comes to being outside all summer and sweating, you don’t need to be wearing your good nice belts to the park on a Saturday afternoon. No one would even know this belt was from H&M unless I told them. So if you need a belt that is just to add something to your outfit or if you aren’t sure you want to make an investment in that beautiful Italian leather belt you saw at the department store, get some amazing quality belts at H&M. These can also help you test out a bunch of styles that you may be thinking about buying. These belts are also great for traveling because if you lose one it’s not hard or expensive to replace it with a new one.
