Steals & Deals: Zara Mid Season Sale

Happy Friday! I was up late last night watching the Arizona Wildcats beat North Dakota to advance in the March Madness tournament. I recently purchased an amazing pair of jeans from Zara, but not having purchased their jeans before I ordered two sizes. I went into the store today to return the pair that didn’t fit and walked into a big surprise. Right now at Zara is their mid season sale! Now Zara is already a great fast fashion brand because they are in my opinion great quality clothing for the price, but with the sale some of their best items are so inexpensive it’s like they are giving it away. If you can’t get to a Zara store I suggest you head online right now before some of your favorite items are gone. Some of my favorite going out tops this fall / winter were from Zara and for us living in the northeast it clearly still is winter here even though it is March…. Head on over now and check it out! Tribal Sweater

 

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is having a great day so far. This winter I have seen a lot of different trends when it came to sweater patterns, but the one that I am currently loving is the tribal patterns. I got this amazing cashmere sweater from 360cashmere from the Rocky Barnes collection. It is currently no longer available however, there are still some amazing pieces left from the Rocky Barnes collaboration. When looking for a tribal sweater I suggest to try and go with max 3 colors for the pattern part as this sweater is black, white, beige and the actual sweater is grey. The point of tribal patterns is its suppose to be different, but you don’t want it to be too busy that it is almost distracting. Personally all my closet is either black, white or neutral colors this worked perfectly with my wardrobe. This is also why I loved this tribal sweater. If I had purchased one that was colors that I normally wouldn’t wear and too many of them I know that I would probably wear it once then it would sit in the back of my closet the rest of the season. If you aren’t sure if this trend is for you I suggest going to some of the fast fashion retailers and testing out the waters on what you like and don’t like. The Fringe Bootie

Happy Thursday!!! Hope everyone is all ready for the holidays this weekend and if not do not head to a mall! I went to one this morning just to go to SoulCycle and it was a ZOO! If you have to do any last minute shopping my suggestion is to do it online. Last year I found these amazing fringe suede booties from Kate Spade New York and since suede is one of the biggest winter trends this year I have been wearing them non stop. They are so comfortable and easy to wear that I wanted to buy it in other colors. Since this shoe is a year old I was curious to see if they even still made it at all. To my luck Saks Off Fifth has it on their website in Tan- Gold, Cognac, Grey and Maroon for only $71.98!!!! I know I normally post Steals & Deals on Friday’s, but this deal was just too good not to post today. They run true to size, but if you like to wear a thick sock during the winter then buy a size up. I personally bought a 6.5 and it still fits with my winter sock, but I know that some people wear thicker socks than I do for the winter so take that into consideration. I also love that the bottom of the shoes are rubber because even when it was snowing the other day in New York City I was able to wear these outside without the fear of tripping and falling. I did weather proof them before wearing them as I do all my shoes I wear during the winter so don’t forget to do that as well prior to wear.
