Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend and are gearing up for the week ahead. I still can’t believe that summer is almost over! Personally I am not ready for the cold weather, but I am trying to savor every moment of the summer I can before it’s over. Now I have expressed my love for bodysuits before and I am here to share with you one of my favorite finds for a special Steals & Deals. Now if you are going to wear a bodysuit I believe it shouldn’t be a full bottom. I don’t want to feel like I am wearing a full piece bathing suit as clothes and I know none of you do either. I have always had a love hate relationship with Express throughout the years, but recently I have loved a lot of their pieces. This off the shoulder ruffle thong bodysuit is something that you all need to have in your closets. First off the off the shoulder trend is something that we have been seeing for over a year now and it doesn’t seem to be going away. Secondly this bodysuit can be worn a multitude of ways. It can be worn as a one shoulder top or even as a strapless top! I have tried it and it works! It is available on Express’ website in 5 colors for only $39.90. Now normally when you see bodysuits like this at such a low price they tend to feel cheap and aren’t as comfortable as what you would like. I am here to say that this bodysuit despite it being off the shoulder which requires me to wear a strapless bra is the most comfortable bodysuit. I had to read the label after putting it on because it is so soft that you would think it was made out of 100% cotton. I personally ordered a size small and it fits perfectly! How To Add Color To Any Outfit

It’s Thursday and that means its one more day until the weekend!!! Now I have said this before, but I will say it again the majority of my closet is black with a little white and very few items of color. However, when it comes to handbags that isn’t the case. A few years ago Gilt was having a major sale exclusive for their app users for brand new Balenciaga bags! Yes you heard that right brand new Balenciaga bags not pre owned. Now it is more common for these flash sale sites to have brand new designer bags at a fraction of the cost but even two years ago that wasn’t the case.

I knew that I wanted to get a red bag to add to my collection. My Mom always told me that if I was going to buy a colored bag to make it red because her Mom always told her that it was for good luck. If you are going to get any bag for a pop color even if you don’t think it will bring you luck I suggest a red bag. My only suggestion is to make sure not to wear a bag like this when their is the potential of bad weather. The worst thing that can happen to you is if your red bag bleeds onto your clothes. That has happened to me way too a few too many times that I don’t want to admit. I think Stella agrees with me on this that this red Balenciaga purse is the way to go. Steals & Deals – Gucci Loafers

 

Happy Friday! I know that in the past I have posted a similar Steals & Deals post regarding the Gucci loafers with fur, but this is different. I have personally fallen in love with the Gucci Princetown Loafers since purchasing my first pair in black leather. They are the most comfortable slides I have ever own in my entire life. You can quote me on that one. However, not everyone wants to spend the money on the Gucci loafers if they don’t think they are going to wear them that often. I have found 4 other amazing options for you all if you still want the Gucci loafer look, but not the Gucci loafer price tag. Sam Edelman makes a similar pair with tassels called the Paris Tassel Slipper for $130. This loafer comes in so many colors I can’t even count!  Steve Madden make  a similar pair that has a small gold buckle on the front like the Gucci loafers called the LAAURA for only $89.95.  If that didn’t get you excited take a look at Topshop. They also makes a suede pair called the Alexa for only $52. But WAIT! It gets even better….I know everyone is loving the metallic shoe trend and if you head on over to River Island website their gold leather backless loafers are get this $50!!! Mother’s Day Week – Steals & Deals

Happy Friday! The work week is finally over and Mother’s day is just two days away. One of my favorite new purchases this summer was from Donni Charm. Their Donni Gigi’s have become a staple in my wardrobe both during summer and the fall. Stella loves rocking their doggy bandanas too! Right now on their website in their Mom shop if your purchase one of Donni Gigi you get one for you FREE! Now this deal is only through Mother’s Day and you better head on over there FAST!!! They even have a set where one of the Gigi’s is monogrammed saying “Like Mother” and the other says “Like Daughter”. Now if that’s not the cutest gift to where with your Mom I don’t know what is.If you don’t think your Mom would wear these amazing neck scarves you would be wrong. My Mom every time she wears one of her many Donni Charm items out and about in Miami she gets tons of compliments from everyone around her. However, it took a while for her to get the hang of all the many ways there are to wear a single scarf. Thankfully on the Donni Charm website they now have very helpful videos to help you style all of their many scarves including all the new spring / summer styles that I had hard time saying no to every single item in the collection. The Classic Belt – Gucci

Happy Monday! This last week I have felt under the weather, but I am so glad to finally start to feel back to my normal self. This past year for my birthday I knew exactly what I wanted and that was the fashion it girl approved Gucci buckle belt. The first time I saw it in the stores it was the larger buckle size and to be perfectly honest I thought it was too big for me. I did not realize that it came in a smaller size until I saw it online on the Gucci website. I was able to track one down in Miami and after adding two holes to it the belt fit perfectly! When purchasing belts I used to in the past by just simple faux leather ones from H&M or from the Gap, but I think now that I am older that I should invest in more high quality belts. My Mom used to purchase my brother and my belts from Gap as kids because for our school uniforms it was required to wear a belt. I personally think she just did that not knowing how much we were going to grow from year to year. If you are going to purchase a belt like this Gucci one I suggest solid colors like black or brown. Its always difficult when it comes to the neutral colors because sometimes a belt may seem to dark of a brown or even too light of a tan that you can’t match it with anything. This is the main reason why I haven’t purchased a brown belt myself. I haven’t found one that matches with everything that I own. I honestly don’t wear a ton of gold, but when it came to this belt I realize that even though I may be wearing majority of silver jewelry the belt worked with my outfit such as the one I am wearing above. Sadly they don’t have my belt online anymore in the small buckle size, but they have a multitude of options to choose from. Hope everyone has a great Monday! Comfy Casual Night In

In college Thursday nights were always a big going out night, but since I have gotten older I enjoy at least one night in on the weekends. Especially nights in cuddling with my sweet puppy Stella. However, just because you are staying in doesn’t mean you don’t have to be wearing sweats around the house. There is always a way to look cute even when you are just staying home. There are so many different ways you can take comfy casual and there is no right or wrong way. Most people would say if you are just spending the night in on your couch watching movies that jeans are not ideal for this, but I disagree. There are so many different pairs of jeans that almost feel like leggings and aren’t rigid like most jeans. These type of jeans are perfect for a night in because they aren’t as constricting as a normal pair of jeans. On top of a pair of jeans pair it with a comfy shirt not super tight, but not too loose that you look like you are just wearing an oversized sleep t-shirt. I know you all know what I am talking about those t-shirts from college that were great to wear to sporting games, but now are faded and way too big. If you have one of those that isn’t too big you can cut it up like the shirt I am wearing above. It will spice up your t-shirt and if you cut it wrong you can just continue to wear it as a sleep shirt. Pair your comfy look with a great pair of slides if you are going over to a friends house or just want to break in a new pair of shoes and you are good to go! Stella seems to be very comfy for our night in with her custom Donni Charm plaid bandana. Maybe if I am lucky she will let me take it off before she goes to bed. 🙂 <3

Steals & Deals – Faux Suede Bodysuit

Happy Friday!!! Today is the last Friday before Christmas and Channukah and I hope everyone has found their perfect gifts for the special people in their lives. If you are still looking for a great outfit to wear for the upcoming holiday parties and for New Years Eve look no further than this Steals & Deals. As you all already can guess from previous posts I love bodysuits. They are so easy to wear and just make an outfit simple and easy. I found this amazing faux suede bodysuit from Charlotte Russe and it is only $15!!! They used to have it in this light purple grey color like the one I am wearing, but now they only have it in a burgundy color. I am very tempted to buy it in this color as well because it just fits so well! The burgundy is also a great color for holiday time because it isn’t a true red, but still festive. This bodysuit is great to pair with a pair of mid rise or high waisted jeans with or without a belt or you can even pair it with a skirt. I hate having to tuck in a shirt when I wear pants, shorts or a skirt because it always seems to bunch up around my waist and just not lay correctly. This bodysuit fits like a glove! If you are concerned about how low cut it is and not revealing too much my suggestion is to use fashion tape. When I wore this out the first time I used fashion tape. Since the straps aren’t adjustable and I did not have time to go and get it altered I used fashion tape by the chest area and it worked perfectly! The top did not move out of place the entire evening that I wore it. Most pharmacy in the beauty section carry fashion tape, but if you can’t find it they also have it on Amazon Prime. Pair it with a simple necklace like the one I have on and you are all set. Hope everyone who is traveling this holiday weekend travels safe and gets everything that they want and more. <3

Steals & Deals – Loafer Slides With Fur

Happy Friday! This season everyone is obsessed with loafers. I personally have put on my Channukah wish list the Gucci Loafer slides, but let’s be real those bad boys are never ever going to go on sale so I have been looking for other options. Last year, Gucci showed off their slides with fur in the lining and let me tell you I was skeptical. I thought how could those be comfortable? And won’t the fur get really dirty from wearing them outside? So I went to the store to try them on in person and they are so comfy and cozy- words can not describe it. However, I did not think I would wear them all the time with the fur especially once winter is in full effect, slides won’t be something that I will be able to wear everyday. One of my favorite discount shoe websites is Jildor. I have found so many good pairs of designer shoes at a fraction of the price because of Jildor. I have also found shoes that have seemingly been sold out all over except for on their site.
