Happy Friday the 13th everybody! I will admit and say that I didn’t realize today was Friday the 13th until halfway through the day. So I know that all of you have now since seen all the fashion and looks from the Golden Globes, but one of the things that was making all the rounds was an instagram post. Emma Stone posted on instagram before the show a picture of her with a crazy lip mask on. This wasn’t the first time I had seen this lip mask on a celebrity before. I had been searching high and low for this exact mask, but never could find it. The ones that I found were over $50 and I didn’t want to spend that kind of money on a mask that you used once then threw away. Thanks to an article published by E! I have found the exact lip mask that Emma Stone and other celebrities have been using! It is a collagen infused lip mask by KNC beauty and it is only $24.99. Before I ordered it I first consulted with my facialist. I have very sensitive skin and I am prone to chapped lips. I use Kiehl’s products on my lips and it helps, but I still have moments where my lips are so chapped it’s awful. She said that to just make sure that there were no ingredients I was allergic to in the mask otherwise if I was then my lips would stay like that. Such a comedian my facialist. Thankfully I am not allergic to anything that is in the mask. I just ordered mine and I can’t wait for it to arrive. There are similar products that are on Amazon, but I read the reviews and I didn’t fully trust them. I have attached the link for the lip mask in the post. Steals & Deals – Steve Madden

Happy Friday!! Yesterday I spent the day in New Jersey with my best friend Tess and let me tell you that Milburn Deli lives up to all the hype that everyone was telling me. I am still full from my lunch yesterday. For the past few years I have eyed the Stella McCartney faux leather oxford platforms in every store I have been to. They are so cute and classy because they look like a classic oxford shoe, but they have the height like those shoes the Spice Girls used to wear back in the day. We all know we wanted a pair of those for our own. I have looked on every discount site for these shoes in any color way and the lowest that I have seen them even during the holiday time was $600 and I couldn’t bring myself to buy them because I know that I won’t wear them every single day. Luckily I found another option! This year on Thanksgiving I did a little retail therapy on Jildor.com and I thought because I didn’t shop cyber Monday that I wasn’t going to get any rewards, but I was wrong. Just from shopping during Thanksgiving in general on their site I received $50 in credits! I had to use them by this week and I scoured the site for a pair of shoes and stumbled upon these amazing Steve Madden pair. They almost look identical to the Stella McCartney’s the only difference is the toe area is rounded and the heel part is a cork heel vs a wooden heel in the Stella’s. These amazing shoes are only $99 and with my $50 coupon I only spent $49 before taxes. They are so comfortable and I am so glad I found a pair that gives me the same look at the Stella McCartney pair that I have been eyeing, but at a fraction of the cost. Steals & Deals – New Year’s Eve Outfit

Happy final Friday of 2016!!! I got up today really early to go to the final day of Carnegie Deli in New York City. Only waited a little over an hour to get seated, but it was well worth the wait. After leaving Carnegie my brother and I walked off our meal and if you haven’t found your New Year’s Eve outfit do not worry. We passed by Zara, H & M, Club Monaco and even Bloomingdales and there are so many good sales going on. A lot of the items may be items that customers returned from the holidays, but their loss is your gain! I personally bought on cyber Monday my outfit from Bloomingdales and when I went in their store they had similar options for a fraction of the price. One of the major trends that everyone wears for New Year’s Eve is anything metallic or sequins. However, this year a major trend that we saw this season is now something that I know I will see everyone wear New Years including myself…VELVET! I personally always buy something for New Year’s Eve that I know I could wear again for a different occasion. If you are going to buy sequins or any metallic stick to the metallics colors of silver, gold, chrome or even rose gold. These are colors you can wear to a cocktail or black tie wedding or even just a fancy party. You never know! If you are shopping velvet I personally got a velvet outfit for New Years that is a burgundy color and I am obsessed with it!!! If you are buying velvet I say the only color I would avoid are lighter velvet colors. The lighter velvet color outfits tend to show lint and dirt faster. Steals & Deals – Faux Suede Bodysuit

Happy Friday!!! Today is the last Friday before Christmas and Channukah and I hope everyone has found their perfect gifts for the special people in their lives. If you are still looking for a great outfit to wear for the upcoming holiday parties and for New Years Eve look no further than this Steals & Deals. As you all already can guess from previous posts I love bodysuits. They are so easy to wear and just make an outfit simple and easy. I found this amazing faux suede bodysuit from Charlotte Russe and it is only $15!!! They used to have it in this light purple grey color like the one I am wearing, but now they only have it in a burgundy color. I am very tempted to buy it in this color as well because it just fits so well! The burgundy is also a great color for holiday time because it isn’t a true red, but still festive. This bodysuit is great to pair with a pair of mid rise or high waisted jeans with or without a belt or you can even pair it with a skirt. I hate having to tuck in a shirt when I wear pants, shorts or a skirt because it always seems to bunch up around my waist and just not lay correctly. This bodysuit fits like a glove! If you are concerned about how low cut it is and not revealing too much my suggestion is to use fashion tape. When I wore this out the first time I used fashion tape. Since the straps aren’t adjustable and I did not have time to go and get it altered I used fashion tape by the chest area and it worked perfectly! The top did not move out of place the entire evening that I wore it. Most pharmacy in the beauty section carry fashion tape, but if you can’t find it they also have it on Amazon Prime. Pair it with a simple necklace like the one I have on and you are all set. Hope everyone who is traveling this holiday weekend travels safe and gets everything that they want and more. <3

Happy Friday! With Christmas and Channukah starting next week everyone is going crazy to find last minute gifts and I am here to show you something that could help you with at least one person on your list. This season the hottest trend was the choker necklace. We saw every model sporting this trend in all different styles, but a lot of the time these chokers were super expensive. For me I knew that I wouldn’t wear a choker necklace everyday, but I wanted the option to wear it when the occasion suited it. I wanted one that was adjustable as I have a very small neck a lot of the original chokers I liked a lot were too big and looked more like a necklace that just was sitting higher on my collar bone than others. I also wanted an adjustable one because sometimes with chokers even though they look proper you may feel like you are actually being choked by them and you do not want that feeling when you are wearing something for multiple hours. After much searching I found this amazing black velvet choker at Urban Outfitters and it comes in two colors black and maroon. Right now if you buy them separate they are $14 but if you buy both of them it’s only $20! I personally have both colors and they are so easy to wear and fit most neck sizes. Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone had a great week and are preparing for the holidays which if any of you are curious this year Channukah and Christmas are on the same day! Black Friday Sales!!!

Happy Friday or as we all know it to be called…BLACK FRIDAY! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and ate too much turkey. I know that I am still full this morning when I woke up. For me I personally do not shop on Black Friday in the stores. I am more of a cyber Monday kind of girl, but there are some great sales today in a bunch of stores. According to Forbes.com some of the best deals today are from Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Target and Walmart. Some of the “star buys” as Forbes calls them are HDTV’s, but there is something that everyone seems to forget. Just because the TV may be a great deal doesn’t mean the model is a good model. Before purchasing any TV today do you research before buying. I say do this with any electronic today because a lot of great brands will significantly lower the prices on models that aren’t necessarily the best ones in their line up. Check it out before you buy. Other “star buys” include sony playstation, xbox 1, apple Iphone 7, apple watch series 1 and the amazon fire kids edition. They also list deals that they say “treat with caution”. This is because even though these may look like deals to us because of the advertising and everything they really aren’t deals. For example a lot of retailers are saying the Apple watch series 2 is only $369, but that is actually the standard retail price. Another one is the Ipad Pro at target is $150.99 off vs $125 off at Best Buy. Even the google chromecast is only $25, but Forbes suggest you can find it cheaper in the off season. All I can say is this if you are unsure if you are getting a good deal do your research. For me I always check if the item is returnable if it is then I purchase it and then if I find it cheaper I buy the cheaper model then return the other one I paid more for. Sometimes retailers won’t let you return and say it is final sale so if that is the case and you are unsure then don’t purchase it. Happy Friday! This being the last Friday before Black Friday Sales I have taken the liberty of finding something that I know everyone will love, but I also hope will go on sale next week. We all have our cell phones and there is always the dreaded question whenever you are out to ask someone who works there if there is someplace you can charge your phone. In the past, I have purchased the external battery cases that attach to your phone’s original case. I loved them and swore by them, but now I have the Iphone 6S plus and those cases just make my phone so much bigger than it already is so I needed to find another solution. I didn’t want to carry those pill chargers all the time even though I do have one and I carry it in my everyday purse, but when I go out at night I didn’t want that battery pill to take up precious space in my small bag. The solution: a charger that can also be your accessory. Now, in the past I have seen other retailers / designers make wearable charging tech and to be perfectly honest I didn’t like the way they looked. I didn’t think there was anything unique to their look and I wanted something that could match with everything. These amazing monogram Iphone charging bracelets from Mark and Graham are amazing! Not only can you customize them by putting your initials on the bracelet, but they are classic. They look like normal silver and gold bangles and it also comes in a matte black version as well. Personally when I first saw them online and without having read the description, I just thought they were normal monogrammed bangles, but to my surprise they were also chargers. At $150 I think this is a great stocking stuffer for your friends this holiday season. Steals & Deals – Off The Shoulder T

Happy Friday everyone! I was traveling yesterday from Miami back to NYC and didn’t have a chance to post, but don’t worry because I have something exciting to share with you all today. For today’s Steals & Deals I want to share with you this amazing off the shoulder tee from Express. I first saw this shirt while reading a post from Who What Wear. They were showing all the models during New York Fashion Week rocking this simple T and I immediately went to express the next day. In the stores if you dig through the racks you will be able to find them, but hurry fast because they have reduced the price of this amazing T even more! Personally I got a size small because I wasn’t sure how much it was going to shrink after the wash. I have washed it already and it barely shrank at all! Remember for tops like these you need to have a great strapless bra especially one without lace detailing. I only say this because I put on my lace strapless bra under this top and you could see the lace detailing through the shirt. Off the shoulder shirts were a big hit this past summer and going into fall there is no reason why you can’t make this a new staple piece in your wardrobe. In college whenever a trend was really hitting its stride I knew that Express would come out with a similar less affordable version and they really hit it out of the ballpark with this one. They also have amazing bodysuit options if you are more into that type of style. If you haven’t gone already go now! Especially at these prices how can you say no?
