Steals & Deals: Alexander Wang Slides

Happy FRIYAY! Today’s Steals & Deals is all about the shoe of the summer. One of my favorite slides that I have seen almost every blogger wear are the Alexander Wang – Amelia slides. I have seen them in also a heeled version with open toes, but I think the slides are just perfect for summer. They are super cute and I love the caged detailing on them. However, the price tag for these shoes are a little pricey for me especially since I feel like this style may just be the style of the summer. I have been searching high and low for a less pricey option so I can get my shoe fix without spending too much. My friend Erika found the answer! Forever21 has a similar pair on their website for only $28!!! Now I think that is much better than spending $595 don’t you? The one thing I will tell you before purchasing them is to buy a size down maybe even a size and a half down depending on how wide your feet are. I am normally a 6.5 sometimes a 7 depending on the shoe, but with these shoes I order a 6.5, 6 and even a 5.5. After trying all the shoes on the 5.5 was the winner and fit me the best out of all of them. I have not seen them in any of the Forever21 stores so head on over to their website now and purchase them before they are all gone. They come in both silver and a beige color, but the only problem is if the shoe doesn’t fit you can only return them via the mail and not in store. When I bought them they only came in the beige color and now I am currently purchasing a silver pair for myself.  I just couldn’t help myself. Steals & Deals – Rosé All Day

It’s Friday and we all know what that means it’s time for another Steals & Deals to get us to the weekend. Now I know that summertime is when all us girls in New York finally can show off our pedicures to the world, but sometimes I am not in the mood to wear sandals. For years I would hate having to wear sneakers or ballet flats when it was so hot out. I just felt that they didn’t look as cute with my outfits, but I also didn’t want to wear sandals everyday during the summer months. I finally found a solution to my dilemma… ESPADRILLES!

They now have a less expensive brand called Circus by Sam Edelman that is available online and in some of their stores. Not like it wasn’t already a steal at the original price of $55 but they are now only $29! They have a great selection of other styles on their website right now at a fraction of the cost. They are so comfortable and easy to wear with any outfit this summer.

I have personally worn these with shorts, jeans and even a dress the other week. A lot of people think you can’t wear them unless you are going to the beach, but you can really wear them everyday if you really want to. Steals & Deals: Ugg Slippers

Happy Friday everyone! I am so happy that its finally the weekend and that its so sunny outside. Despite it being so sunny outside the one thing that I always wear around my apartment and if I need to run out quickly downstairs are my Ugg slippers. I bought these over 10 years ago before my last summer at sleep away camp. I did this because we were required not to wear sandals to morning line up, but slippers like these from Ugg were allowed. After seeing so many other girls do it I had to get a pair of my own. I figured based upon how much Uggs cost that the slippers would be at least $120. Boy was I wrong! They are currently on their website for only $85! Uggs for under $100? Impossible some may think, but it is true. I have seen so many shoppers buy the “fake” Uggs just because they are under $100, but if they only knew that they could have the real deal for under $100 I think they wouldn’t be purchasing the “fake” Uggs anymore. It comes in 4 different colors, but I personally have the chesnut color. I have had mine since the summer of 2005 and they are still in amazing condition. I do suggest getting their weather proofing spray that they sell on their site, but other than that they hold up really well. Currently on Nordstrom Rack’s website they have a similar pair, but with a more moccasin look for $59.97! I know that it may be almost summer, but these bad boys are worth snagging now before they are gone. Head on over to the Ugg or Nordstrom Rack’s websites before they are all gone. Steals & Deals – Ear Cuffs

Happy Friday! Back in 2013 the biggest trend to come out of the earring game was the ear cuff. Now as I have told you all before my Mom is the queen of finding the hottest trends at a fraction of the cost. She purchased me these beautiful diamond ear cuffs from Graziela Gems and they are even more beautiful in person. They are so comfortable and so easy to wear with pretty much everything that I own. Back then they were on sale due to the impending holiday season, but they now have a special collection on QVC. They are all under $100 and compared to their full retail collection this is a HUGE STEAL! If you are still looking for a great pair of ear cuffs these are the ones you need to snag up immediately. Steals & Deals: Zara Mid Season Sale

Happy Friday! I was up late last night watching the Arizona Wildcats beat North Dakota to advance in the March Madness tournament. I recently purchased an amazing pair of jeans from Zara, but not having purchased their jeans before I ordered two sizes. I went into the store today to return the pair that didn’t fit and walked into a big surprise. Right now at Zara is their mid season sale! Now Zara is already a great fast fashion brand because they are in my opinion great quality clothing for the price, but with the sale some of their best items are so inexpensive it’s like they are giving it away. If you can’t get to a Zara store I suggest you head online right now before some of your favorite items are gone. Some of my favorite going out tops this fall / winter were from Zara and for us living in the northeast it clearly still is winter here even though it is March…. Head on over now and check it out! Happy Friday! Yesterday in New York City we had a blizzard and I decided to take the day to stay inside and snuggle up on the couch with my sweet puppy Stella. Thankfully today some of the snow has melted, but there are still parts of the city that have too much snow. Steals & Deals: The Over The Knee Heeled Boot

Happy Friday! For today’s Steals & Deals I want to discuss one of the hottest trends this season…the over the knee boot. We have seen everyone wear them from the Hadid sisters to almost every fashion blogger out there. I was lucky enough to get a pair of the Stuart Weitzman Highland boots in black suede for my birthday, but not everyone wants to spend that much on a pair of shoes. So if you get that on your new boots that are weather proofed just take a towel or napkin and wipe off the salt. Happy Friday everyone! On a day like today the best way to get through it is fashion. One of the biggest trends that I have seen all over the runways are statement earrings, but especially ones that are either gem stoned or large in size. Personally I am always scared of having a heavy earring in my ear thinking that it will rip my hole. Trust me I have seen it happen to a few people and it is not pretty.
