Happy Tuesday everyone! With Labor Day weekend approaching this is the best excuse to break out your best shoes to celebrate the final weekend of Summer 2017. Crazy to think that is Summer is almost officially over and Fall is just around the corner. Since last year I have officially become a sneaker junkie. I have come to love sneakers as my in between shoes when it’s too cold to wear sandals outside, but not cold enough to wear booties. My Mom as I have told you all before is my go to when it comes to finding amazing items at a fraction of the price. For a very special #tuesdayshoesday I have a steals & deals just for all of you. A lot of high end designers are making sneakers with glitter into their collections including Gucci and Golden Goose Deluxe Brands. However, even though I love a great pair of sneakers I don’t necessarily know how often I would wear a full on glitter pair. For this reason I wasn’t willing to spend $500+ on a pair of sneakers that I don’t see myself wearing more than once in a blue moon. My Mom told me about this amazing website Lori’s. Lori’s based in Chicago similar to Jildor sell multiple brands on one site. Sometimes I have gone to sites such as Lori’s when big box retailers are sold out of sizes and sometimes have color options that they may not necessarily carry. Happy Tuesday! Well really happy #tuesdayshoesday! I know that I have posted about my love for Hunter rain boots in the past, but I wanted to bring them back again. I was also inspired since it has been so rainy and yucky out today in NYC. Now I know for most of us we normally only wear our Hunter’s in the winter with the snow, but you can still wear them when its just plain old raining. There are so many options when it comes to rain boots today that there are a few key things that I have learned when purchasing them myself. First off check the bottom of the shoes and see how thick they are. This may sound silly to you, but the amount of times that I have heard of people wearing their rain boots so much outside that it has worn down the soles to the point that there is now a hole in them is crazy. Mind you the person who also wore them wore thick socks like the swelly socks with my Hunter rain boots so they were wearing the right socks for the shoes. Secondly look for practicality. What I mean by that is if you are someone that lives in say Seattle where it rains a lot so you will wear them on most work days and then change shoes at work you don’t want to have a huge pair of rain boots by your desk or under it. That is taking up valuable space that you need. This is when I tell my friends to buy the rain boots that aren’t calf length in height but just a little bit above the ankle. That way your legs are semi protected and your shoes aren’t taking up valuable real estate by your desk. Happy Monday! Well let’s be real the thing I am most excited about is the Bachelorette Finale tonight on ABC. Now I have been watching all season long like every year participating in Bachelor / Bachelorette leagues, but little did I know that this year I was going to know one of the contestants. Something that I learned from one of my friends who also knows someone that was on the show is that the roses that they hand out are 100% real! I know there has been a ton of discussion about this on all of the gossip sites, but they are real!
